VN, Algeria celebrate 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations
VNGOP – The Việt Nam-Algeria Friendship Association and the Algerian Embassy to Việt Nam solemnly celebrated in the morning of October 26 the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Socialist Republic of Việt Nam and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria (October 28, 1962-October 28, 2007).

The attendants reviewed the stages of development of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries over the past 45 years. Since the establishment of their diplomatic ties, Việt Nam and Algeria have continuously expanded and promoted their bilateral relations and friendship in all fields.
In his speech at the celebration, Algerian Ambassador Naceur Boucherit emphasized: “The relations between Việt Nam and Algeria are characterized by a permanent political dialogue within the framework of the solidarity and multiform cooperation, through an intensive exchange of reciprocal delegation visits.”
He showed his confidence that the two economies could facilitate the development of a mutual beneficial cooperation and pledged not to spare any effort to continue to work together, in concert and with all Vietnamese friends at all levels to further promote, expand and deepen the relations between the two nations in all fields.
