VN and Japan pledge a long-standing and sustainable partnership

VNGOVNet – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng received the Japanese Goodwill Ambassador, Sugi Ryotaro, in the afternoon of March 02 in the latter’s current working visit to Vietnam.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng emphasized that the Vietnamese Government will strive best to deepen the bilateral comprehensive cooperation in all fields. According to the PM, this cooperation can help bring the traditional friendship between the two countries to a new level of a long-standing and sustainable strategic partnership for common benefits, peace, cooperation and development of the two nations, contributing to the development in the region and the world.

PM Nguyến Tấn Dũng praised the guest’s efforts over the past ten years in nurturing the Vietnam-Japan relationship. Mr. Sugi Ryotaro is a good and close friend of the Vietnamese people, confirmed the PM.

During the visit to Vietnam, Ambassador Sugi Ryotaro and his delegation intend to hold a contest on movie making for Vietnamese pupils in Hanoi. The contest is expected to promote cultural and educational exchanges between the two countries, especially among young generations. The Japanese Ambassador revealed that the winners will be invited to Japan. Mr. Sugi Ryotaro pledged to try for his best to develop the good relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
