VN, China to boost cooperation in science and technology

VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng gave a cordial reception in the evening of May 18 in Hanoi to Mr. Xu Jiangding, Head of the Chinese Technology Institute, who is paying a working visit to Vietnam.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng stressed that the Vietnamese Government and people are impressed by China's robust growth in all fields. He reconfirmed Vietnam's policy to develop a socialist-orientated market economy and promote the international integration to mobilize more external and internal resources for comprehensive development. So, Vietnam prioritizes the development of education, science and technology, which is very essential for the national development, he added. The Government head showed his desire that the Vietnam-China friendship and cooperation will be further nurtured and maintained in all spheres, especially science and technology.

Mr. Xu Jiangding expressed his admiration to Vietnam's swift economic development. He agreed with PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng's suggestions and emphasized that he will strive best to boost the scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.
