VN-Cuban should boost IT cooperation

Minister Ramiro Valdes Menendez reported to the PM the outcomes of his talks to Vietnamese Minister of Post and Telematics Đỗ Trung Tá, and Industry Minister Hoàng Trung Hải. The guest expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Government will pay more attention and support to make the projects between Vietnam and Cuba fruitfully.

The Cuban Minister thanked the Vietnamese Government and people for funding Cuba to assemble 60,000 and 120,000 computers in 2007 and 2008 respectively.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng lauded the results gained in the guest’s working sessions with two Vietnamese Ministers. He confirmed that the Vietnamese Government always supports the bilateral comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba, especially in informatics and telecommunication.

He added that the Vietnamese Government and people will strive best to develop the close friendship, brotherhood and traditional comradeship between the two countries.
