VN, Czech boost business linkages

VGP – The Czech-Vietnamese Business Forum was opened in Hà Nội on September 27 to spur trade linkages between business communities of the two countries.

The Czech Republic always regards Việt Nam as one of its prioritized trade partners, said Czech Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Milan Hovorka.

According to the Czech Deputy Minister, the rising trade turnovers remain inappropriate to respective potentialities and prospects for higher development.     

Meanwhile, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Lê Danh Vĩnh held that Việt Nam and the Czech Republic have advantages which will be able to supplement each other.

He recommended the two sides regularly exchange information and seal more contracts for mutual benefits.

At the forum, PSJ of the Czech Republic signed a contract with Nosco Vinalines  on building a shipyard in the northern province of Quảng Ninh.

PSJ also inked a memorandum of understanding with Vinalines Shipyard a ship repairing plant in the southern province of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu./.
