VN eyes universalization of secondary education in 2012

VGP - The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) has instructed localities to realize the universalisation of junior secondary school education in all communes nationwide in 2012.

The MoET announced that illiteracy has been eradicated in all communes and districts and 55 out of 63 provinces and cities have achieved the universalisation of primary school education.

By the end of 2011, 99.4% of the communes had completed the universalisation of junior secondary school education./.
