The announcement was made at the international dermatology conference last week in Hà Nội, to which delegates focused on exchanging information, experience and new treatment techniques regarding two common diseases: atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.

According to health experts, climate change and rapid industrialization and urban lifestyle are attributed to increasingly bigger number of dermatological diseases, especially atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, which are hard to be cured completely and easy to recur.

According to Dr. Trần Hậu Khang, Director of the Việt Nam National Dermatology Institute, 1-5% of the world’s population suffers from psoriasis and 20-30% of people seeking medical checkups and treatment at the institute have psoriasis.

The International Association of Dermatologists (IAD) is a premier networking organization for dermatologists world-wide. The IAD was founded on the idea that personal achievement is deserving of recognition and reward. Through a variety of benefits offered, the IAD offers top dermatologists ways to improve their business through state of the art networking and marketing capabilities.
