VN, Lao government offices boost ties

VGP - The Vietnamese and Lao Government Offices have agreed to build up a cooperation plan to further improve their advisory capacity.

The agreement was reached duding the Vietnamese Office of Office delegation’s visit to Laos on July 26-28, which inquired into the condition and facilities of the Lao Government Office and Secretariat.

The delegation, led by the office’s Vice Chairman Nguyễn Quang Thắng, was received by Lao Politburo member and Deputy PM Somsavad Lengsavath on July 27.

The Lao Deputy PM said that he highly appreciated the close cooperation between the two Government Offices, and that he hoped the cooperation plan would be completed soon.

He proposed the Vietnamese side continue to assist the Lao Government Office in mastering information technology.

The Vietnamese side will provide the Lao Government Office and Secretariat with computer equipment, management software, training sessions along with sharing experience in the field.
