VN looks to deepen ties with China

VGP – Viet Nam expects to work with China to deepen the two countries’ comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, said PM Nguyen Tan Dung while meeting with Chinese Minister of State Security Geng Huichang in Ha Noi on Monday.

The practical and effective ties would benefit the two neighbors and contribute to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, PM Dung added.

He said that the Government of Viet Nam always supports cooperation between the two security ministries, urging them to enhance the exchange of delegations, mutual trust, and sincere cooperation.

Minister Geng Huichang briefed the host about the outcomes of his talks with Vietnamese Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang, during which, both sides discussed cooperation in ensuring national security, cyber security and training.

Mr. Geng said his ministry will work closely with the Vietnamese counterpart to fruitfully realize cooperative activities in a bid to boost the relations between the two countries./.
