The agreement, designed for 2015-2020, aims to lift bilateral trade turnover to US$ 15 billion in 2020.

The two sides are also drafting another five-year action prorgram for 2020-2025 to raise two-way trade to US$25 billion by 2025.

The 2020-2025 agreement on the program is scheduled to be signed during Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s official visit to Viet Nam in August this year.
