The Committee, which may be headed by Prime Minister, is responsible for proposing orientations and measures to step up the ICT development and application.

In an other move, the Ministry of Information and Communications is expected to finalize a draft report on the outcomes of the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive 58 on accelerating ICT development and application to serve industrialization and modernization in July.

Also in July, a national workshop on Vietnam’s E-Government 2012 is also expected to take place, during which the Vietnam ICT White Book will be announced.
