VN persists in "one-China" policy

VNGOP – Asked on February 14 about Việt Nam’s response to Taiwan’s referendum on joining the United Nations, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lê Dũng stressed that Việt Nam’s stance on the Taiwan issue has repeatedly been confirmed and written down in joint declarations and joint communiqués it signed with China.

Việt Nam consistently follows the "one-China" policy, supports China’s great cause of the reunification, opposes all attempts at an independent Taiwan in any form, including the holding of a referendum for Taiwan’s accession to the United Nations, said Mr. Lê Dũng.
