VN pledges favorable conditions for RoK firms

VGP - The Vietnamese Government signaled its determination to create the best conditions for RoK companies to invest, produce and do business in Việt Nam at a talks with RoK agencies and organizations on June 22.

The talk, held by the Administrative Procedure Control Department under the Vietnamese Government Office, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Korean Chamber of Commerce (KORCHAM), aimed at updating Korean firms with business and investment mechanism, policies, and administrative procedures relating to taxation, customs, trade, import-export in Việt Nam.

Representatives of relevant Vietnamese agencies said they will review regulations and procedures to remove obstacles and create more favorable conditions for enterprises to invest and do business in Việt Nam.

A representative of the Korean Embassy in Việt Nam said some 2,000 Korean firms and 100,000 Korean people are doing business and living in Việt Nam.
