VN targets to send 90,000 guest workers in 2012

In 2012, Việt Nam will develop vocational training for workers in the healthcare and service ectors in order to meet demands in traditional markets.

In addition, the country will expand new markets with seasonal work, including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Russia, Finland and Sweden.

Last year, over 88,000 Vietnamese workers were sent abroad to around 40 countries and territories, mostly in the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Malaysia./.
