VN to host 3rd Indian Ocean Conference next week

VGP - The 3rd Indian Ocean Conference themed "Building Regional Architectures" will be held in Ha Noi from August 27-28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Thursday.

The conference is an annual effort to bring together Heads of States/Governments, Ministers, Thought Leaders, scholars, diplomats, bureaucrats and practitioners from across the region.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh will attend and deliver an opening remark at the conference co-hosted by the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam and the Indian Foundation.

Two successful editions of the Conference have been hosted so far in 2016 and 2017 in Singapore and Sri Lanka, respectively./.
