VN to host AFMM in April

VNGOP – The Ministry of Finance announced on March 26 that the 12th ASEAN Financial Ministers’ Meeting (AFMM) and related events will be organized in early April in Việt Nam’s central city of Đà Nẵng.

Agribank pledges to increase loans for agricultural development

Financial ministers from ASEAN countries and the ASEAN General Secretary will review and discuss policies and programs on regional financial cooperation.

Beside the AFMM, some important related meetings will be held between March 31 and April 3, including the ASEAN Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting (AFDM) and the Informal ASEAN Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting Plus Three (China, Japan and the Republic of Korea).

The 12^th AFMM is expected to attract some senior leaders of the Vietnamese Government, World Bank CEO, the Asia Development Bank President, Governors of the central banks of the countries which have hosted three successive AFMMs (Thailand, Việt Nam, and Brunei).
