VN to pay US$ 50,000 to ASEAN Haze Control Fund

VNGOP – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development about the outcomes of the ASEAN Meeting on the trans-border implementation of the Haze Agreement, the PM just agreed that Vietnam will pay an initial contribution of US$ 50,000 to the ASEAN Haze Control Fund.

The Ministry of Finance was entrusted to act as the major implementer, under the collaboration with the relevant ministries and agencies, in checking Vietnam's contributions to different funds within the regional cooperations (ASEAN, APEC, ASEM) as well as to international organizations and reporting to the PM.
