VN treasures relationship with Laos

The Government chief made the statement during his reception for the Lao Minister of PM’s Office and Chief of Government Secretariat, Cheuang Sombounkhan, in Hà Nội on Monday.

PM Dũng stressed that the Việt Nam-Laos relationship manifests itself the special ties of comradeship and faithful brotherhood.

Both countries should further boost cooperation and jointly seek ways to speed up socio-economic development in each country, he suggested.

The PM also hailed outcomes of the talks between Minister, Chairman of the Vietnamese Office of Government Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and Minister Cheuang Sombounkhan, saying these are valuable contributions to the consolidation and enhancement of the bilateral special friendship between the two neighbors.

Minister Cheuang Sombounkhan informed his host that the Lao Party and Government are focusing on containing inflation and preparing for the first working session of the 7^th National Assembly.

He noted that the Vietnamese Office of Government’s experience on dealing with inflation would be valuable for the Lao Government in the current circumstance.

Minister  Cheuang Sombounk laid special emphasis on practical assistance provided by the Vietnamese Office of Government,  especially in IT and the development of Laos’ Government Web Portal.

He said he expected the assistance would help further the efficiency of the Lao Government and PM’s management and instruction work.
