Viet Nam, Belarus sign visa exemption agreement
VGP - A visa exemption agreement for ordinary passport holders was signed by the Governments of Viet Nam and Belarus on December 8 in Ha Noi.

The agreement was inked after the summit meeting between Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Belarusian counterpart Roman Golovchenko who is on a four-day official visit to Viet Nam.
On the occasion, the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Belarusian Ministry of Home Affairs signed an agreement on the transfer of people sentenced to prison to continue serving their sentences.
A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and exchange of information in the field of nuclear safety and radiation protection was signed between the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Ministry of Science and Viet Nam and the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus.
An agreement on official dissemination of Vietnamese national standards in Belarusian territory was also inked between the Center for Information and Communication of Quality Measurement Standards under the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality under the Ministry of Science and Technology of Viet Nam and State Center for Accreditation under the State Committee for Standardization of Belarus./.
